emm...sewing a dress is not my specility...and hardly wear one actually...but i did sew a few dresses for a change ... a housecoat for me....frankly, i don't really know how to draw the pattern according to the bodice measurements... so i turned to MakOnem for help...and she showed me how to do it...measure..draw and cut the paper pattern...and i still keeping it for my future use...hehehe...hope i didn't put on weight..!
i bought this light green swedish cotton...the fabric was slightly thicker and heavier than normal American cotton..well.... just wanna to try my touch on sewing a dress....and so i don't really mind any type of material....as long as it's easy to cut and sew....for an amateur like me...the easier the better...

the back and front view of the dress....just a simple dress tho'...i appliqued the squares which was placed overlapping on the chest and scattered it on the skirt....and for the skirt bottom...i sewn a row of triangles to form into a long stripe and joined it to the bottom of the dress....
i'm sure..it will looking lovely...for little princess out there....with sweet colours...cute applique patterns...stunning embroideries...the dress will fit for any lil' princess out there....
and as for me...i'm happy with this....a simple dress for simple person like me...!
