few months back i was invited to participate in this project ... was organised by the non profitable NGOs calles globalchange.me ..
crafters were requested to send 2 blocks (12x12 and 9x9 inches) ... all blocks will be joined and taadaa ....


the first quilt and proudly to mention that the yellow xegon with blue base is my block .... happy !!!
and this quilt will go under ......

farewell gifts ....

its was a BIG news when my little sister decided to move on and join me .... as a Lady of Leisure :)
she summoned me to make 8 pieces of mini sejadah for her muslim friends and a bag for her chinese friends .... as her farewell gifts ...


just a simple machinequilt (which i'm not good at ...) but i'm happy with the result ....

its a red- hot colour tones from kaffe fasset square-cut fabric collections ....i really love kaffe fasset fabrics ....

its new trend ... for the first time ever this school organised sport day at nite ...

as second runner in 4x200meters

lucky there's no cctv there or else i'm sure people can see how excited i was ...go Adam go ... a bit more ... go Adam go ...but i'm sure other parents were just as excited as i was .....

just cant stop myself from sewing these lil'sweet sue tote bags ....


it started with lil'sweet sue in pink


then a friend requested lil'sweet sue in blue ...


then i decided to try green ...lil'sweet sue in green ...


and also a personslize lil'sweet sue


i just loving it !!

again ..i'm using 100% american cotton ..Robert Kaufman to be exact .. and fully handquilted .

alhamdulilah ...it was a wet wednesday ..thought it gonna be a sloooooow day but i was wrong ....guess with the right company and good laughs ..one can expect unexpected things to happened ...thank you sis

sweet lil'sue ...

Its another sunbonnet sue project for me ... was requested by my SIL ... to make a sweet diapers bag for baby girl ....

fabric is from Robert Kaufman collections ... and sunbonnet sue was appliqued on the outer pocket ...hand appliqued and handquilted .... hope its sweet enough as i'm not a sweet person .... hihihihi
