Mum's and Dad's...

just to share ...my mum's quilt ... made it quite sometimes ago

i called it ...flowers for mak

a simple offwhite and green blocks with flowers appliqued :)

handquilted ...

the flowers.....

and for my dad ... there's a super "guilty "story behind it ...

when i gave my mum's quilt to her ... i promised Bah that i'll make one for him ...

there goes my promises ... time goes by ...and yet it was just an empty promises ...

then ...the story begin... Bah was admitted ...

i was at school ...sending Adam , then i called Mak and asked "how's Bah? how is he ? everything ok? " ..then Mak replied ..." ooo Bah ok ..and i'm with your sisters at Kamdar ..."

" for what ? " i asked ... then this answer really breaks my heart ... Mak said ..." Bah don't like the hospital's blanket ..he wants Mak to buy him a softer ..."

what? buy a blanket at Kamdar ????my ears rings ... my heart beats as if that i was running ... and the GUILTY feeling ...

i went back ... took out all the fabrics that i've put aside for Dad's quilt ... and i stitch and stitch and stitch ... day and night

and Alhamdulilah ...i finished my Dad's quilt in 3 days ... my friends said it was a world record in quilt making ...but i said " don't wait until they go to Kamdar ... do it !"

and now everytime i went back home ...

look at Bah ... snuggle under it ... i'm glad ... happy ... relief ... :)
