k is for kettle...

i made this wall-hanging for my little kitchen for quite sometimes ago but still can't decide where to hang ...

and there's a nice story behind this simple wall-hanging which i would love to share with ...

... i was summoned by my sis in-law to make a gift for Perkhemahan Pandu Puteri di Rompin closing ceremony and the receiver was none other than our KDYTM Tengku Puan Besar Pahang Tunku Azizah .... i was honoured ... thanks !!!

my SIL wanted something that close to KDYTM Tengku Puan ... as all of us knew that Tengku Puan Besar loves cooking and good in crafting ... so i told my sister "let's make wall-hanging..." and so i did.... too bad i don't have the photo of it...

.... i made the wall-hanging ..then i sent it to my adik in Kuantan to have it framed ...then my brother took it back to Rompin a week before the event ...and my sis in-law forgot to snap a photo of the 100% finished wall-hanging .... :(


every now and then when i saw mine...i do hope that the wall-hanging has find a nice place somewhere in royal's kitchen wall ... ;)


i made myself a 90% replica of it ..as i never like making a same thing twice ... so mine is bigger ...no framing...no dollies ... just a simple wall-hanging to remember the event ...!

peek-a-boo...

being buzy with the boxes and finally i finished making 10 boxes...yup! i'm suppose to finish all but my dear aunty bardot yet to send me the laces... so i stucked with 10 (two of each colours).


during this fasting month ..i'm gonna put the boxes on-hold , and off with my smocking projects... for my little princess Daania Zahra ...



and for school holidays project ,.. well i guess, it's gonna be felting project !!
saw such a beautiful and cute things out there...gotto try making it..especially the cute hair-clips for lil'Zahra ...

and thanks to my friend Linda...my felts are adding again.....


and now i'm wondering..when can i start my quilting ???
or making another bag??? ...or finishing my UFO hexagon projects ...???

weekend project...felt craze

really excited to put my hands making felt phone casing ... decided to make one from the same colour with the purse that i made earlier... matching pair ... what a great ideas..!!!

and another ... oops, better stop now !!


then help Azeem with his project ... he's doing ok and now earning his own pocket money ... good on him ... here are some of the felt project that he made for his friends ...



wow... i've been bitten by felt bugs ... my boys too !!!
thought o f making the hair clips for my lovely nieces and little Zahra ...but i gotto hold on first ... maybe it's a good project for fasting month besides smocking .... :)

weekend projects...boxes n purse...

well.. .it's a quiet Saturday evening for me...my love hubby took Azeem and Adam to Bangi for soccer game and Aliff was out with his friends... and i was left home alone ...

at first ..thought of joining them but i really need to finish making the boxes ... and glad that i decided to stay... now the boxes are done ... next step , wrapping it which i feel it's easier than making it ....really hope i can finish it by next weekend !!


while waiting for the glue (using contact glue) to dry and ease away my backache ... i found a sweet and cute project to do... it was a felt purse which i saw and learnt from http://paper-and-string.blogspot.com
the purse was so sweet ... so i decided to make one as the tutorial looks so easy to follow...and really happy with what i made ... thank you !

today , i'm glad that i'm home alone ... with 20 finished boxes and a cute felt purse ... who wouldn't ?

p/s : now am thinking of making felt cases for shades and phone .... :)

my bags...vi

it was a sleepless nite for me last night... just don't know why...
thought of finishing this bag last nite...since i can't sleep but suddenly...i don't think it was a good idea... :)

another bag for me but.... what is it for ????
firstly... i thought of making it for my cute mini HP... then ... maybe it's for my telekung... but until now ... still undecided !!


actually , it was my first attempt making this design ... which i think it was quite tricky especially the top curved part and putting the zipper ... purghh! i really bad in putting zipper.... help!!!!

but for now... i guess , i'm happy with it ...yesssss!

friendship bag swap...

i'm taking a break from making boxes ...i got such a wonderful project to make today :)
taa daa.... a bag for my " Friendship Bag Swap" project ...

really hope it is good enough for my mystery partner ... actually it's just a small bag ( 5 x 5.5 x 3 inches bag ) but mine is slightly bigger ..oops sorry !!

hope to make another bag that meet the requirements ...if i could break away from making boxes again before the dateline ... hope...hope...hope...! we'll see ... hehehe

Aiqal's masterpiece...

...done my spring cleaning in my boys rooms and i found something that i'm proud to share with all... i called it... Aiqal's Masterpiece

we bought him this Adidas Stan Smith shoes for Raya celebrations in 2007 ... he was in form 4 (16yrs) ...it was just a plain white Adidas shoes with black trimming.....

then a month after raya he showed me his shoes ...

but this time with some sketches on it ....i love it


may be it's not a big deals to others but for me.... i found a talents in him
and it was the subject that he presented during his interview ...
and now he's out there trying his best putting all the ideas together.....
